One season that very few Americans enjoy each year is tax season. This was not any different during the time that Jesus walked among His people. Some people wanted to try to turn others against Jesus and asked him a hot button topical question: should Jews pay taxes to Caesar? Not only does He give an answer that amazes those listening, but He also sheds light on a greater issue: What exactly are we giving to God? We will be discussing this greater issue this morning as we approach the presence of God together. May the Word and the Spirit of God speak to each of us this morning and throughout the week.
