Sometimes when things begin to get bad, we try to overcompensate for what is going on. Like when we are skidding across the road out of control in our cars, the only way to truly come out of the skid isn't to overcorrect, but to steer into the skid. Peter denies Jesus out of fear and reaction to everything falling apart so fast. Jesus knows what must take place, so He allows Judas to betray Him and allows the Romans to arrest Him. If we want to experience the glory to which God has called us, then we must fully step into God's light and be open about the difficulties going on in our lives. This is the most difficult part about healing from our hurts, but it's also the most important part as well. We must fully embrace our pain in order for God to help us overcome it.
