Despite Moses being delivered from certain death as a baby, he grew up not really knowing who he truly was. This resulted in a violent outburst and his fleeing from the only home he had ever known. It wasn't until he got away from this home that God called him and shaped and formed his identity into the hero of faith that we know him as today. God shapes and forms us as well into being the people whom He has called us to be. However, before following our divine calling, we must flee from what lies beneath the surface: our false selves.
