The Israelites went through some massive changes in the book of Exodus. They were freed from Egypt thanks to the plagues. They crossed the Red Sea that God parted for them and escaped the Egyptians. They wandered in the wilderness for 40 years. They went into the promised land. The common theme for the people during this time was that they did all of these things together. God never designed life to be lived alone for Himself or for anyone in all of His creation. We are saved together, we worship together, and we are carrying out the mission of God together.
