God gave Joshua and this new generation of Israelites perhaps the worst battle strategy ever. However, the Israelites still agreed to march and have faith that God would keep His promise. Sometimes God calls us to do things that seem ridiculous, outrageous, and maybe even a little bit embarrassing, but this doesn't mean that we will lose the battle, it means just the opposite. God never barely wins anything. He defeats evil in overwhelming fashion every time. Therefore, sometimes the most courageous thing we can do is simply obey, regardless of how crazy it might sound to us.
