Something that always needs courage is change. Change is rarely easy nor does it usually come naturally. Nevertheless, this does not mean that it isn't necessary or even that it isn't a good thing. Change at some point and some level is always needed. The Israelites had lived on the wilderness side of the Jordan river for more than 40 years. Crossing alone was a major step but leaving behind what they had known for so long might have been even a bigger step. This morning, we will see what new world God is currently calling us to cross into as well.
