If we stop and think, it's easy to give thanks when things are good. But things are not always good, so what then? Psalm 57 gives us a vision of God that enables us to give thanks even when things are rough. It also gives us a model and language for how to approach God during difficult times. It's a bit of a twist on Thanksgiving, but it fits our experience of life really well.
